Clearinghouses are an integral component in the whole concept of the new Check 21 Law. The situation dictates that there be some mechanism for routing the digital check images. Diebold Eras has had the technology ready since 1998 and has been working on relationships with the major banks as well clearing houses. These organizations are eager to establish the interchange with all vendors providing Check 21 solutions.
