Diebold Eras is governed by FDIC regulations just as you are. Therefore, we must be watchful of our operations and always develop applications regarding compliance from the perspective of "what do we need?" After thoroughly testing new compliance products in our own operations, we then make them available to the marketplace.
iMonitor- In response to the new expanded requirements in the Patriot Act of 2001, Diebold Eras has developed a system that gathers account activity, such as cash ins and cash outs, deposits and withdrawals, and wires in and out on user designated accounts. The user can enter anticipated monthly activity levels in each category as well as account information including officer codes and officer e-mail addresses. The Account Monitor will automatically compare each account's actual activity during any given month to the anticipated levels and e-mail detailed reports to the account officer for them to research and respond. |
Fast314(a)- a secure, online application designed to allow banks to record transaction data and respond quickly to FinCen requests in an automated, cost effective way. The system provides an interface for the bank and their tellers to record identifying information for persons related to the sale or cashing of monetary instruments, information which is typically not tracked electronically. Fast314 also provides for searches across multiple identifiers, such as name, payee, remitter, tax number, date of birth, passport ID, etc. and can be linked to account and transaction history from other sources. Possible matches are automatically compiled into an electronic report that can be emailed directly to FinCen for quick and easy responses.
